About the role
We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team and lead design across a mix
of client projects from early-stage product definition through to pixel-perfect
handoff. You'll work closely with engineers, researchers, and clients to shape products
that are genuinely useful and beautiful.
This isn't a role where design is a final polish layer. You'll be involved from the first
discovery call, shaping strategy alongside the product team before a wireframe is drawn.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end design on 2–3 client projects simultaneously, from discovery
workshops to developer handoff
- Conduct and synthesise user research interviews, usability testing, heuristic
audits
- Create and maintain robust Figma component libraries and design systems
- Collaborate directly with frontend engineers to ensure design fidelity in production
- Present and defend design decisions clearly to clients and internal stakeholders
- Contribute to FICAVO's design culture reviews, critique sessions, internal tooling
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of product design experience, ideally in an agency or consultancy
environment
- Mastery of Figma components, variables, auto layout, prototyping, developer
handoff
- A strong portfolio showing systems thinking, not just beautiful screens
- Experience working directly with engineers and contributing to design systems
- Confident communicator you can explain a design decision without jargon
- Comfort with ambiguity. Client projects rarely arrive fully defined.
Nice to have
- Experience with motion design or micro-interactions (After Effects, Principle, Rive)
- Basic frontend knowledge you don't need to code, but understanding CSS helps
- Background in fintech, healthcare, or SaaS product design
